A young certified male due to commence work in 2017. Houston is a beautiful macho with excellent conformation who carries a lustrous, well nourished, dense fleece with good independent lock structure.
He was awarded many accolades in the show ring (11 Supreme titles in breed and to date his adult fleece has been awarded 3 Supreme titles) The pinnacle of his show ring career was being awarded the 2014 NZ National Supreme Trophy (judge was Amanda Vanden Bosch). He was always commended for his lustre, density, uniformity of attributes across his whole body into his extremities and his presence. He carried 24 months of fleece with almost no cotting prior to his first shear. His total shear weight was 7.8kg.
Houston’s sire is Sherlin Commodore (a multi Supreme Champion) sired by ILR Peruvian Amador and his dam is Sherlin Wisteria whose sire is Surilana El Paco sired by Zosimo. Wisteria, herself, won several Supreme Champion ribbons and was the NZ National reserve intermediate female champion in 2010.
