We are a small farm, breeding quality suri, based in Temuka, South Canterbury,  about 150Km south of Christchurch.

Our goal is breeding suri which are well conformed, white to dark fawn in colour and  carry lustrous, dense and fine uniform fleeces.

Some of our notable successful breedings to date are Fairhaven Qudos, the 2020 National Supreme Champion Suri, Fairhaven Houston the 2014 National Supreme Champion Suri,   Fairhaven Jazmyn whose fleece was awarded the 2014 National Supreme Champion Suri Fleece award, Fairhaven Jaeger who was awarded the 2015 National Supreme Champion Suri Fleece Award and Fairhaven Lugano who has been awarded Supreme Champion titles at multiple shows including the NZ Agricultural Show; Lugano is also the sire of Fairhaven Qudos.

October 2016An awesome weekend at the AANZ National Show.  We entered 4 fleeces and 3 were awarded Age Group Championships and the 4th was Reserve Age Group Champion together with Champion Light Fawn Suri Fleece.  Two of the fleeces were from suri bred at Fairhaven:  Jazmyn (her 3rd fleece) and Jaeger (his 2nd fleece).  Fairhaven Jaeger's dam was awarded Veteran Female Suri fleece (81 months at shearing) Our young cria bred at Fairhaven (4 male and 1 female) were all awarded ribbons in their classes - the highlight being awarded 2nd (Lumio), 4th (Lugano)  and 6th (Lacoste) in a very large class of junior white males.  The most exciting result was with Surico Sweetie - purchased a month before the show.  At just 6 months of age she won her class and went on to be the Champion Mid/Dark Fawn Suri.  It was also great to have our lovely female, Surico Cordelia,  take part in the Supreme Line-up after being awarded  Senior Champion Female Suri The weekend was topped off with the excitement of  bringing  Sweetie home to Temuka.
