This young male is now certified and  started work in 2015. His first progeny  was a  beautiful lustrous light fawn female - born in January 2016. Picardy has subsequently sired several more beautiful lustrous  male and female cria ranging from light to medium/dark fawn.  The 2018 crop, 2 female and 1 male cria, are all destined for out show team in October 2019.

He was awarded Junior Champion Male Suri at the 2012 Expo and has subsequently been awarded Supreme championship ribbons.  Judges have commented on the superb handle of this male's fleece.    His sire was the National Champion in Australia and his dam has been awarded many accolades for her fleece.  This photo is of Picardy in his returning fleece.

He is co-owned with Surico and is currently working on the North Island.

SURICO ONEDIN

Surico Onedin is an excellent full accoyo male.  He carries a lovely fine well nourished  fleece with a high degree of lustre and density.  He is a seven times Supreme winner including the AANZ National 2010.  Onedin's first Fairhaven progeny arrived in 2013 -  his daughter Fairhaven Jazmyn was awarded National Supreme Champion Award for her fleece in 2014 and Fairhaven Jaeger was  judged the National Junior Champion Male Suri.   He  passes on his fleece qualities to his progeny who have all shown significant improvements in fineness and uniformity.

SURICO DALI

A young suri male who was certified in 2017.  He has great potential as a stud male and will start work later in 2017. This male has had a successful show career winning many broad ribbons including the Champion White Suri award at the 2016 National Show.   Dali is the result of careful breeding at Surico and is the full brother of Surico Magritte who has been producing exquisite cria over the last few years.

Fairhaven Lugano is a true to type, well conformed suri male. He carries a uniform, fine, dense, lustrous fleece.  These attributes have been highly praised at a number of shows including the 2016 Canterbury Show where Angela Preuss awarded him the Supreme Champion Suri  title.   His parents need no introduction as they are both National Champions - his sire Surico Onedin was the NZ National Supreme Champion in 2010.  His dam, who we bought before she was 6 months of age, was the National Junior Female Champion in 2013 and the National Senior Female Champion in 2016.  Considering  his genetic background and excellent fleece characteristics  we expect him to have a huge impact on the quality of our herd.  He started working in Autumn 2018 and expect his first cria on th ground in February 2019

Solid White

Houston is a true to type suri male. He is a well grown male carrying a dense, lustrous and uniform fleece.  Both his parents have been multi Supreme Champions. He has great potential as a herdsire with Amador and Surilana Zosimo in his background.

Fairhaven Houston was shown 11 times in his first fleece and each time was unbeaten, winning 11 Supreme titles.  At the 2014 NZ National Expo he was awarded the accolade 2014 NATIONAL SUPREME CHAMPION SURI.  His first fleece was awarded Supreme Suri Fleece at 2015 Mackenzie Highland Show and was awarded Supreme Suri Fleece at the 2016 Royal A&P Show at Hawkes Bay.

This male has now been certified and will commence work in 2017/18

Medium Fawn

A stunning medium fawn male with a lustrous, fine, dense fleece carried on a solid frame with good conformation,  This male has consistently been awarded Champion Fawn Suri at A&P Shows on the South Island and was placed 1st  as an Intermediate at the 2014 National Show.  He was the  Supreme Fawn Suri at 2013 and 2014 South Island Colourbration.  Has been awarded reserve Champion junior and intermediate male at several shows,  Jarrah is currently in his first fleece. He is the 2014 National Reserve Champion Med/Dark Fawn Suri.  This male is certified and recently commenced work at his new owner's stud.
