Three more cria were born Maserati made a very quick entry into the world - didn't even know his mum was in labour.  He was just as quick to get on his feet and find the milk bar.  A very lustrous boy and so he had to have a special name!
Towards the end of the month a small female cria was born,  Mishka a lovely darker fawn similar to her mother after another 362 day gestation.  Finally on 30th January our herd matriarch gave birth to a beautiful good sized female cria.  This was the first cria of our new stud boy Surico Picardy and we are pleased with the result.

A great result -  we had 6 maidens giving birth and although there were a few issues all the cria arrived safely and all feeding their cria well.
